Trip Advisor Reviews

Fantastic! (06 September 2009)

“Stayed at Altiplano Tipis in August 2009 and had a ball. The scenery is stunning and it's incredibly peaceful, with just the wildlife to keep you company. The owners, Andrew and Louise, were the perfect hosts from the moment we arrived to the time we departed... I can't recommend this holiday highly enough.”

Unique, relaxing, peaceful and picturesque (23 Aug 2009)

“In short, Antiplano Tipis offers unrivalled value for money and we would unreservedly recommend it to anyone looking for a holiday with a difference. Comfortable, friendly and relaxing, what more could you ask for?”

Fantastic (6 July 2009)

“The accommodation is perfect for people looking for something a bit different, (and don't expect 4 * luxury - you are still camping!) but camping in style. You can see the stars through the top of the tipi, wake up to the beautiful noise of goat bells, eat the yummy breakfast with the view of the mountains and when it all gets too hot you can cool off in the pool or head indoors to the host's cave home which is amazingly protected from the heat of the day. You even get to shower in a cave! We had a great stay, and for those looking for somewhere with low environmental impact this place is perfect.”

A beautiful and surreal setting with open landscapes and mountain views (5 Aug 2009)

“We can definitely say it was a holiday with a difference. We were looking for something that was very relaxed, free of fuss and that's exactly what we found. The site has 3Tipi's, all of which are equipped with a bed & beautiful rugs making it cosy and romantic.”

The Guardian (13 July 2009)

“Cute as a button, Altiplano Tipis is a quaint luxury tipi camping site near to the town of Baza that we found while travelling around Andalusia.

The three tipis situated in the courtyard were like a picture postcard, brightly coloured yellows and blues against a backdrop of the whitewashed cave house of the friendly owners, Louise and Andrew. The tipis were very comfortable and had a homely feel with coloured rugs on the floor and we even had our own private shower room, which made a nice change from our previous camping experiences!”
